Medical School Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible for this Scholarship, a student must:
- Be a resident of Oregon with preference given to residents of Jackson, County.
- Be in good academic standing.
- Be enrolled in an accredited program that awards one of the following degrees: Doctorate of Medicine; Doctorate of Medicine and of Philosophy; Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine; or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree or masters programs with degrees with the pursuit of careers as Physicians Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP). (Such degree programs include: Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science and Medical Science or Science of Nursing)
- Provide timely completed Otterdale Memorial Scholarship Application and corresponding documentation.
Other Award Details
- Eligibility is without discrimination on account of gender, ethnicity, age or creed.
- The Medical School Scholarship is an annual award.
- Medical Students must reapply in subsequent years.
- Consideration will be based on the need for financial assistance, as well as motivation and commitment to medicine.

- Provide Academic transcripts from medical school
- Three Letters of Recommendations
- One Page Personal Statement
