Medical School Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible for this Scholarship, a student must:
- Have successfully completed the first-year medical school curriculum.
- Be a resident of Oregon with preference given to residents of Jackson, County.
- Be in good academic standing.
- Provide timely completed Otterdale Memorial Scholarship Application and corresponding documentation.
Other Award Details
- Eligibility is without discrimination on account of gender, ethnicity, age or creed.
- The Medical School Scholarship is an annual award.
- Medical Students must reapply in subsequent years.
- Consideration will be based on the need for financial assistance, as well as motivation and commitment to medicine.
Required Documentation
- Complete the Otterdale Memorial Scholarship Application,
- Provide Academic transcripts from medical school
- Three Letters of Recommendations
- One Page Personal Statement
- Front Page of both applicant and his/her parents’ most recent IRS Form 1040
